Covid-19 Salon Strategy

Due to Covid-19 we will be working with suggested recommendations and rules to maintain the safety of our clients and staff.
​
We will be endeavoring to maintain a level of social distancing, as well as maintaining a high level of hygiene and the wearing of masks to prevent the spreading of the corona virus to our clients and our team.

So, what will the new normal look like at Capelli's.

All clients should arrive wearing a face mask
​
Because clients will be wearing masks, we are asking them, where possible, to wash their hair before coming to their appointment.
We will of course wash clients hair if they are unable to wash it beforehand.
​
We ask that all appointments are made by phone, to avoid the extra traffic through the shop.
​
To maintain social distancing there will be no waiting in the shop, so please come alone for your appointment.
The only exception will be for an adult accompanying a child.
​
Staff will be running to a strict time schedule, so we ask all clients to please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive early or, we are not quite ready for you, you will be asked to wait outside until you can be safely seated for your appointment.
​
On arrival, all clients will have their temperature taken.
If anyone has a high temperature they will be asked to leave and advised to contact their doctor.
​
On arrival all clients will be asked to sanitize their hands before being seated for their haircut.
​
On our part, each member of staff will ensuring high levels of hygiene by cleaning and disinfecting our stations. This includes our chairs, basins and equipment between each client. We will also be sanitizing our hands between each client.
​
Please be aware that the WC facilities will be out of bounds to clients.
​
For the time being, we will be unable to do beard trims.
​
Most prices will remain the same as they were before lock down except for the under 18's, and the clipper cuts.
We will be giving all clients, adults and children the same amount of time for an appointment to ensure hygiene standards are maintained, and to reflect this, we have had to increase the prices for our under 18's, and clipper cuts during this period.
